Project Trivia:

Ziggy had predicted that Sam would leap to Texas in the mid-50s instead of Sacramento in the 70s. She then figured it was just an unscheduled stop.

Al says that Sister Angela's enthusiasm for her chapel reminds him of Sam and himself back in the old days when they raised funding for the Imaging Chamber. It was their dream and they poured over the blueprints.

Handlink: fist version. No IC door seen or heard.

Ziggy is referred to as 'he'.

Sam Trivia:

Sam can't box.

He's out of shape.

Al Trivia:

Al is tired the whole time because his neighbor uses the nights to work on his car - with lots of noise. Sam suggests to tape the noise and play it when his neighbor wants to sleep in the day.

When Al was 16, he was regional Golden Gloves champion.

Miscellaneous Trivia:

As a matter of fact, Sam's next leap was to Texas in the mid-50s as Ziggy had predicted for this leap.

Songs:

- Amazing Grace
- Takin' care of business
- You Don't Mess around with Jim -- Jim Croce

Predicted Outcome:

Ziggy hasn't got much data, but thinks that winning the championship so the sisters can afford their chapel is Sam's best shot to leap out.

She later determines that in the original history Cody took a dive and the chapel was never build.

Altered History:

Sam bets on the Ali vs. Foreman fight and wins a lot of money to get Edwards out of his hair. He wins the championship so Sister Angela gets her chapel and regains her faith.

Quotes:

Sam: "You know, people with monogamous relationships don't wake up with guilty consciences."
Al: "I know, they don't have any fun either."

"If we knew the unknown, the unknown wouldn't be unknown." (Al)

"No offense, Al, but I need a real trainer and not a hologram." (Sam)

"Maybe that's all winning is. Have the right person believe in you." (Sam)

Comments on Leaping:

You know, this leaping about in time has its advantages. Like being able to reunite the love of my life with her father. And even though I wasn't supposed to affect anyone in my personal future, I figured the big guy upstairs would understand. Then again, maybe he didn't. (Sam)

Open Questions and Logic Flaws:

In Leap of Faith, Al had trouble with being in a church because of this thing with his father. He had no trouble, however, in this episode, which doesn't add up.
